Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran is a sacramental community, which simply means that we love communion and baptism. Rooted in Lutheran theology, we believe these are gifts from God and therefore offered freely to anyone who wants them.
Why do we gather for worship? God calls us to worship. We gather to be the liturgical assembly of God's people and the visible focus of God's reconciling mission toward the world.
What do we do in worship? We sing hymns. We pray prayers. We confess creeds. We read scripture. We pass the peace. We partake of bread and wine. We preach sermons. As God comes down to us, we respond with prayer and praise.
